May is Mental Health Awareness Month—a time to break stigma, elevate voices, and champion emotional well-being. At BaMidbar, we are choosing to focus this month on the resilience of the Jewish people. Resilience is more than bouncing back—it’s the practice of moving through challenge with purpose, connection, and strength. Our tradition teaches, “A righteous person falls seven times and rises again” (Proverbs 24:16). This isn’t about avoiding hardship—it’s about rising, learning, and growing through it. And that rising? It takes practice. It takes support. It takes community.
Throughout the month of May, BaMidbar is offering many ways to join us in celebrating our community’s strength and supporting the mental health of Jewish teens and young adults. From Instagram stories and personal reflections in our Mi Mitzrayim campaign, to workshops, webinars, and our 7 Days to $7,200 fundraising challenge, we invite you to learn with us, grow with us, and build resilience—together. We hope you’ll check out our full calendar of events and learning opportunities, and walk with us on this journey from narrowness to strength. 💙 Click HERE to RSVP for any of the events listed below.
